03. History

Church Website Delivery (Minnesota, USA)

Central Church of Christ Medical Page • Paid • 7-8 months

Built a 10+ page church website covering events, departments, staff hierarchy, prayer schedules, services, education offerings, church history, member history, and leadership poster details. Started from WordPress discovery/template selection, then shifted to a coded website with hardcoded structured content and long-form media pages.

  • Main challenge: information was not available online in usable format, so we manually collected and verified content from the client and supporting public sources.
  • Vertical learning: moved from template customization to full coded implementation with content architecture planning and section-level UX flow.
  • Donation decision: no payment gateway was implemented by client request; provided direct contact/phone-based donation route.
  • Status: project remained live after launch.

Web-Based Game Frontend (Unreal iFrame)

Remote client delivery • Pixel-art Minecraft themed portal

Implemented a responsive browser experience for an Unreal Engine-powered game embedded with iframe, including themed UI framing and low-latency UX behavior. Built to make gameplay feel instant inside a web shell.

  • Challenge: balancing iframe integration constraints with responsive layout and visual identity.
  • Vertical learning: fast sprint execution, performance-first frontend tuning, and cross-device usability under strict timeline.

Unity 2D Chef Game (Portugal Client)

Full game flow from scratch • 4 villages • 2 boss fights

Designed and implemented a 2D progression game from only two initial GIF references. Built worlds (Overworld, Winter Village, Wine Village, Candy Cloud Village), each with 5 recipe collectibles and gated progression logic for boss fights at level 2 and level 4.

  • Challenge: converting minimal visual input into a complete gameplay system and progression economy.
  • Vertical learning: game-state design, progression gate conditions, and boss unlock sequencing tied to collectible milestones.
